After a few warm days the freezing level dropped to around 1000 metres overnight and this morning causing a frozen surface crust to the wet snowpack.

    Clears gully exits & the top of scarp slopes of cornices, unstable snow and climbers. Job jobbed.
    Proper big boys’ toy. Excellent!
